We met at 3:30p.m. at Düsseldorf airport. We handed in our luggage and then went through the security check, then we had to wait 1 hour for boarding to get on the plane.

Everyone got something to drink in the meantime, and Maja even bought drinks for some of us! After that everything went according to plan. The flight was quick and smooth, we landed and got some food from the airport shop. We had to wait 20 minutes for a train to get into town. The English train drivers were on strike, but 

luckily the Welsh train drivers saved us!

When we arrived in Manchester it was raining and we had to walk 10 minutes to the youth hostel with our suitcases. That was the first day.
